The blog from the women's refuge has gone viral in the Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse service..!! Granted my viral is not as viral as the recent 'blue and black or gold and white' dress debate that has been raging recently on social media. But viral in the circles that really matter to Yoga Quota!
Thus I've been contacted by 2 more Womens refuges to organise charity classes for them.
This is why I blog!
This is also why when a teacher becomes a Yoga Quota teacher I'm asking them to blog after each of their charity classes too.
If we spread the word about our work at Yoga Quota it helps spread yoga.
It's not about bragging about charity work- and I know the best charity work is unsung, quiet and strictly behind the scenes. So somehow blogging doesn't fit with that! But the leads we get from blogging about Yoga Quota classes make up for that slightly awkward- could be interpreted as bragging thang.
Please when I write charity blogs, share away, maybe someone in your network knows some group who could also do with trying yoga for free. Comment here or to me directly any time with a cause you're passionate about.
It makes my day when I get little emails or answer phone messages asking for a yoga class!
