Last night we did Tone at Tea Time...Katrina did her first Bakasana! Milestone! We tested the general structure of the class and that went down really well. Thank you Katrina and Felicity!
This morning 5 choir gals, Claire T (and Elliot), Claire W (and Jonathan), Michelle, Sammi and Emmeline did the Hangover Cure class. For the record, they weren't hungover! But as mums juggling 7 kids and jobs they needed some time for themselves.
So we had a chilled yoga session outside in the garden as the sun rose. They gave such positive feedback! The class must be relaxing if everyone was stretched and chilled even with two 18 month old boys running riot in the garden around us! Crazy kids!
I tell you what, it is great just to give Mums a little time out to themselves. Nadi Shodhana went down particularly well. It's a lovely, simple breathing exercise that you can do anywhere. If you need to, you know, just centre yourself you can do it in exam halls, toilets at work, on your desk, in the shops....it's pretty subtle but also very relaxing! Many theories why it works, not for here, just try it and see for yourself!
