Shabby chic or just plain shabby?
Most people went for shabby chic, the cool people anyway!
Just when my flyers AND business cards ran out, the organiser who is now a chum of mine sidled over to my stand to inform me that the bow wave of 600 people was about 30 minutes out. AH! talk about timing! So I dashed out, asked a nice lady in the newspaper shop where to find a photocopier URGENTLY! I found a stressed out man in a shop that binds your thesis. But he was completely chocca all afternoon. So, biting the bullet, I took 4 A4 sheets of paper from Happy Cakes (amazing people) and gave students scraps of paper with my name stamped on it and the words 'free class'.
People were eating my hand off and tonight's class was full! So happy! Welcome everyone. Every visit you make I get one fiftieth closer to my goal of giving a free charity class. My next one is with The Big Issue. At 35 so super close now to the next big 5-0!!
Google me, facebook me, it's for charity, first class free. (as I've said approx. 3000 times today!)
