Harriet and Cassie spent last Thursday hanging with the folks at City of Oxford College for #thoughtfulthursday.
We taught vinyasa flow taster sessions to a number of groups, including an entire dance class (teachers promoting yoga, yay!). The highlight of the day, though, had to have been three guys who had heard about the yoga on campus and came over to try it out. After our ten minute taster was complete, they asked us if we could do some more, as they had slotted in twenty minutes for yoga in the afternoon. We of course said yes!
It’s great to see colleges and universities getting on board with mindfulness and yoga. These practices are life changing, particularly in times of stress and frequent sitting. We had lots of fun and hope to be back on campus soon! :)
