The big launch day is tomorrow!
I should be speaking to 9000 to 10000 students over the next three days eek! Obviously some will pass on by, which is fine, but hopefully the some will stop to hear the message of "every 50 people I give a class to charity groups and your first class is free!"
I think I'll be sleeping that mantra tomorrow evening!
My stand is 2 down from the rather large OTC stand. It's completely domineering! A couple of equally domineering Officer Cadets were setting up the sky scraper, completely ignoring the poor little organiser who was trying to tell them to keep the size down or there may not be room for the coffee yurt...what is a coffee yurt anyway? I'll find out tomorrow that's the stand next to me!
I did lots of trials to prepare. Walking up to the stand as though I was a student, checking the 'lady' and poster grabbed my eyes and was angled 'just so'! Then I rushed off to teach my lunch class to one of my regulars and a new lady who'd heard of me through Sweaty Betty and whose hubby is on guest fellowship here. Welcome!
Mid savasana I realised that my stand was facing the wrong way! It's a one way system like at Ikea but I had got the flow the wrong way round and had figured out all the angles from the perspective of someone going contra flow. I've been known to try contra-one-way-flow driving and it's not recommended. In a car, or at a Freshers' Fair. So tomorrow morning I'll re-do it, smile and greet, greet, greet everybody!
Need my beauty sleep tonight for so much smiling! Going to listen to this amazing Yoga Nidra to get to sleep. Try it for yourselves. Technically you're not supposed to sleep during Yoga Nidra... but who's checking, hey?
Dulcet tones of Swami Janakanda. Bliss.
