Nothing beats the satisfaction of opening a new book... except perhaps paying less than £3 for it.
My mom absolutely loves to shop - but only when this shopping is what she calls "victorious". It seems that this is a trait I've gotten from her... as I love to bargain shop and will very rarely pay full price for something.
Yesterday while taking a walk through Oxford I found a hidden gem for victorious shopping - and I went on a £15 spree which bought me 6 brand new books. I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time here... especially because this amazing bookshop is 140 yards from my front door.
The shop is called the Last Bookshop, and there are actually two of them (I admittedly visited both yesterday). One is on New Inn Hall street and the other is on Walton Street. The one on Walton Street is bigger and has a wider selection as well as a number of second hand books and £1 coffee. Most new books are £3 each or two for £5, while second hand books are even cheaper. It's an amazing find and I highly recommend going for a visit.
Happy reading and [victorious] shopping Yoga Quotees (yes, there are books on yoga)!
