Yoga has helped me in a multitude of ways from coping with work-related anxiety to finding a new kind of freedom I didn’t know existed. Personally, yoga has evolved from a place of escape to a sanctuary where my breath, body, and mind can meet and agree with each other. Although being able to go deeper in a back bend is not going to translate directly into a better quality of life, the journey to get there has an immensely liberating impact, irrelevant to the fact that whether one can actually can get into the full expression of any pose. I believe that everyone deserves to live a completely awesome life–to find balance and composure in every aspect of it–so that we all can be our best selves on and off the mat. And I'm aware that the transformative power of yoga is not exclusive to any particular individual. Teaching yoga at Yoga Quota will allow me to share the love of yoga with even more people, so that together, we can help make the world a more loving place.
