I've got my first yoga class for the Lady Rowers of Oriel College this evening. Welcome ladies! Here are 3 incredibly astounding facts about how yoga helps rowing!
1) We both love lycra. Rowers get to spend more time in their spandex which is good for the soul.

3) The presence of mind and the centred-ness (for want of a better word) that you get through Pratchahara (sense withdrawal) and the elements of Diyana (meditation) in Yoga Quota's classes help with your mental preparation for races. Especially those 2 minutes before the start of Bumps. Eeek!
