What are your thoughts on routines? Do you like repetition in classes week on week or not? Please comment below to let me know if you have an opinion on it.
Personally, I dislike going to exactly the same class week on week.
I like to chop and change around with the routines because I like it to stay interesting.
Saying that it is also nice to have a little bit of pattern so you can see your improvement ... 'your evolution' (thus the picture....
I tend to stick to pattern in the general structure of the class less the specific postures though.
The jury is definately out...what with the enduring Ashtanga Sequences These routines have lasted at least since 1948 from Pattabhi Jois but are allegedly much, much older.
What do you think? Routine or no routine?
