As per my last Procrastination Pro blog I'm avoiding the accounts like anything. Yes even charitable ventures like Yoga Quota need to do accounts in fact more so. Sigh. A Community Interest Company needs to prove to the powers that be that over 50% of their profits go to the cause, a charity: 100%. So although I am still neither (the lawyer is looking into charity now after my experience in October) I am bound to get accounting so I can get onto being one or the other.
Last month, cleverly, I booked in an appointment with my book keeping friend whose sole job was to sit there and make me do it (plus provide the expertise and spreadsheets). This time I was not such a procrastination pro.
However, at least I haven't resorted to moisturising my feet to avoid it. Genuinely money is not my thing and even when driving myself with the goal to be a CEO "one day" on my mad-management-consulting push it wasn't for cash it was for the sake of doing something bloody difficult.
So I have dragged myself to the PC and opened excel (and written this blog) and off we go. Beans. Counting. Go!
(don't look at the date, chaps these are October's accounts)
