A fine, misty day in Oxford and a fine day for Yoga Quota's charity work too! Two of the young people at the Autism Family Support class did the class without their guardians, which was mature and a big leap for them. I was touched that they trusted me already to do this. But there's more!
After the class, I met with Keen our charitable neighbours in the Turl Street Kitchen family. Keen provide sports for young people with disabilities in Oxford. We booked in 7 'quotas' together... that's 7 times that Yoga Quota will provide yoga for free for the young 'atheletes' of Keen.... before June!
It's all adding towards Yoga Quota's challenge to at least double the number of charity classes that we did last year. Thanks to all the teachers signing up for their own quotas (blogs to come soon!), charities asking for series and of course Yoga Quotees coming to the studio, it is all going to plan.
Autism Family Support are here, they are wonderful for young people on the spectrum and their families alike.
Keen are here they always are looking for volunteers check out if you can bing your skills to them too!
